With the light wind pocket coming up in the next 12h, I had to resort to a decision making tool I used many a time before in my professional career. I tossed a coin!, heads fo a shorter course close hauled passing north of the bubble, tails for a longer course on a broad reach, faster but longer southern route. The heads won, so now I'm committed to going north, happy with the thought that there is now an alternate universe where the tails won and an alternate limelight sailing south under light spi. One of us is gonna win this damn race!
