Yes i spent time sailing to the West to pick up a forecast that made very good sense, as did some others. The actual update if it had happened as forecast, would have been the better tactical decision to make. Which begs the question why did so many of the more experienced RG players stay inshore, If they could see the same forecast as the West sailors ?
If it had updated as forecast, the West would have been close to reaching SSE and benefitting each wind update, so why did the experienced RG players not do that ??
