One little query, does the "no tool" rule apply to my VMC/VMG calculators which use only the RG polars as a basis. They are not external tools for me but if they are classified as external tools for other users, I will disqualify myself as it's not fair that I would be allowed to use them and others not.

I just want to clarify this point.

For the record, I have been sailing along the Best VMC bearing since the start, I have stopped at 20:00 today as it was going to place me in a bad cell and I'm sailing at best VMG angle right now. After the gate I will return to best VMC and see what it does to my ranking just as an experiment. If my tool is not allowed, I will simply not finish.

If you ask your question in the French section of the forum, I would give my opinion without any translation problems. In summary: your calculations of orthodromomic routes to the finish and best VMC in each cell should appear in the internal tools offered on the interface. It is nothing but cosines calculated locally.

Si tu reposes ta question dans la section française du forum, je donnerais mon avis sans problème de traduction. En résumé tes calculs de routes orthodromomique vers l'arrivée et meilleur VMC dans chaque case devraient figurer dans les outils internes proposés sur l'interface. C'est que des cosinus calculés localement.

Ton outil utilise des données du jeu pour obtenir d'autres données que regattagame ne fournit pas.
Il s'agit donc bien d'un outil externe.
Tu voudrais que l'outil de calcul de la vmc soit inclus dans le jeu ?

The decision of RG is that my tools are NOT allowed for this race.
