Merci mon ami, it is to this which i was referring. For so long this has been the case, I was asking a question why has it been left for so long ?
I think this would be the wrong way to proceed. Sure the code can be modified to round the number, but if one is going to modify the code then it seems to me making the polar calculator interpolate the data and calculate the boat speed for the actual wind speed would be better. So a wind of 7,5 and one of 7.8 produce different boat speeds for identical TWAs. It's not that hard to do, and this would be a real improvement to the game.Kingfisher829 a écrit : ↑30 juil. 2020 14:54Merci mon ami, it is to this which i was referring. I assume it must be very difficult to make the winds whole numbers ? ( i myself have no clue)
Good point; yes i get this. And imo only of course, i think make for a better game too. At least you the look for that extra small piece of wind than actually ploughing through larger areas where the wind is actually the same.limelight a écrit : ↑01 août 2020 09:17
