je me demande si ce serait une possibilité de ne charger que les nouveaux vents et la prévision 12h pour pouvoir éviter le problème actuel. Puis charger tous les vents (prévisions) après la bascule et les mettre à disposition une heure après .....

Oui, c'est une idée.

Nous allons d'abord rapidement modifier le chargement pour que ça ne charge que jusqu'au prévisions +36 qui étaient disponibles à temps ces derniers jours; ça sera prêt ce soir ou demain j'espère.

Ensuite, oui, nous allons modifier le fonctionnement pour que ça charge chaque prévision dès qu'elle est prête, plutôt que d'attendre la disponibilité des prévisions +168h avant de commencer à traiter les données comme actuellement.

si vous mettez prévision pour prévision dès qu'elle prête, on ne sait jamais si ce sont les nouvelles prévisions ou toujours les vieilles ............. je pense que ce serait mieux de les mettre tous une heure après la bascule.
Ou si possible signaler avec des couleurs pour le signe du vent, que toutes les prévisions sont actuelles ........

THE 00Z NAM HAS STARTED AND IS RUNNING AS MUCH AS 15 MINUTES BEHIND SCHEDULE AS IT NEEDED TO BE COLD STARTED. OTHER EARLIER MODELS ARE MORE SIGNIFICANTLY DELAYED INCLUDING THE 18Z GDAS, 21Z SREF, 23Z AND 00Z RAP/HRRR, WHICH ARE OR WERE APPROXIMATELY 1-2 HOURS LATE. THE 18Z GEFS IS BEING RERUN AND WILL BE 2-3 HOURS LATE.

Bonjour;

C'est le vent qui fait avancer nos bateaux, et nous ne sommes jamais à l'abri d'un caprice de la procédure de chargement des vents.
Il y a toujours un problème non élucidé qui fait que cette procédure se bloque parfois (très rarement). Une amélioration a été faite il y a quelques mois pour que les admins puissent relancer facilement la procédure en cas de blocage total, encore faut-il le faire avant la bascule.

Tous les joueurs sont donc encouragés à signaler sur le tchat ou sur le forum s'ils constatent que le chargement est bloqué sur une course (le remplissage du camembert orange ne progresse plus).
En cas de blocage, et si la procédure n'est pas relancée avant la bascule, il n'y a plus de vent dans le moteur à la bascule...

C'est arrivé hier soir sur le challenge Emden - Rostock, il n'y avait personne en course, et personne ne s'en est rendu compte avant la bascule. Merci à mAKi de l'avoir signalé dans la soirée; le chargement a été relancé manuellement, mais c'est plus compliqué, enfin pas tant que ça mais il faut savoir le faire.

Cela m'a fait penser que je n'avais plus répercuté les messages de la liste des utilisateurs des données de la NOAA depuis un moment; il y a eu 4 nouveaux messages depuis le 1er avril dernier, que je colle ci-dessous.

Si certains joueurs comprennent ce type de messages, ils sont vivement invités à les commenter au cas où des changements notables y soient annoncés.

Il y avait eu un changement important il y a environ un an que nous n'avions pas anticipé qui avait rendu la procédure de chargement inopérante et qui nous avait obligé à traiter manuellement le chargement matin et soir pendant une semaine ou deux avant qu'on arrive à intégrer le changement dans la procédure; c'était assez laborieux, et surtout contraignant.

Dans le 4ème et dernier message collé ci-dessous, il semble, à ce que je comprends, qu'une mise à jour du format des données soit prévue pour le 19 juillet prochain.
Cela devient donc ma priorité numéro 1 de comprendre ce changement, de voir si la procédure fonctionne toujours avec le nouveau format de données qui semble être proposé, et de l'adapter au cas où.

Pour garder toute notre sérénité, notre bonne humeur et nos cheveux, il me semblerait cependant sage qu'il n'y ait pas de course en cours autour de cette date là...

Je me suis penché un peu sur la mise à jour de la NOAA programmée prochainement.
En fait, il me semble que ce n'est pas le format des données qui va changer, mais le modèle qui permet de déterminer tous les paramètres de l'atmosphère. Je pense qu'il n'y aura donc pas d'incidence sur notre procédure de chargement des vents.

Depuis le message du 16 juin, quelques messages sont tombés sur la liste des utilistateurs des données GFS NCEP de la NOAA, reproduits ci-desssous., avec retard j'en conviens.

Un changement important est prévu le 19 juillet, mercredi prochain, dans 2 jours (cf dernier message).

Cela ne devrait pas perturber le bon chargement des vent, sinon nous implémenterons un fix .

Cependant tous les joueurs qui utilisent d'autres sources de données des vents sont invités à comparer les vents regattagame et leurs autres sources, pour s'assurer qu'ils correspondent.

Sujet: [NCEP.list.NOMADS-ftpprd] Model delay - 7/10/2017 1625 UTC

Due to some internal network congestion all model output beginning around 16 UTC has been slightly delayed. We are seeing delays up to 30 minutes at this time for all web services output. We have identified the bottleneck and have taken measures, model timeliness should slowly begin to recover. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Sujet: [NCEP.list.NOMADS-ftpprd] Attention! GFS upgrade on target for 7/19/2017

The GFS upgrade is on track for implementation on Wed, July 19 beginning with the 12z cycle.

With this upgrade NCEP will be offering two new grib filter options:
-0.25 deg GDAS: filter_gdas_0p25.pl
-Surface Flux GFS: filter_gfs_sflux.pl
