Bonsoir;
Les vents utilisés dans le jeu proviennent de la NOAA (GFS - NCEP).
Il y a de temps en temps des changements ou des problèmes qui peuvent être génants pour le jeu.
Pour essayer d'anticiper les changements et de comprendre les problèmes, je me suis abonné à la liste de diffusion de ce service.
Il y a très peu de messages qui tombent, un ou deux par trimerstre parfois.
Pour votre information, et vous nous aiderez peut-être ainsi à anticiper des problèmes à venir, je vais coller sur ce fil ces messages.

Deux messages sont tombés il y a un mois ou deux lors du VG à propos d'un grand retard sur la disponibilité des données, ces messages sont sur un fil du VG.

Le 3 février 2017, le message reproduit ci-dessous est tombé; je pense qu'il n'y a aucune incidence sur le bon déroulement du chargement des vents.

Un message est tombé lundi 6 mars sur la liste des utilisateurs des données NOAA.
J'ai encore du mal à comprendre les implications en ce qui concerne les données du modèle GFS qui sont utilisées dans le jeu, mais il semble qu'une mise à jour se profile pour le mois de mai ou juin prochain.
Il faut absolument que j'arrive à comprendre si le format des données restera le même ou s'il faut adapter la procédure de chargement des vents.

Bonjour;
Il y a eu de grandes lenteurs ce soir pour le chargement des ventssur toutes les courses. Ça s'est finalement débloqué, et il ne reste plus que le Jules Verne à charger, pas sur que ça arrive à l'heure (heure limite = 19h45 pour le Jules Verne contre 19h30 pour toutes les autres courses).

Un message vient de tombé sur la liste de diffusion des données NOAA expliquant ce problème:

Starting at 1530 UTC admins discovered flapping NOMADS web services
impacting users. We were unable to resolve the issues and have failed
services to our alternate site. If users are still experiencing issues
please flush your DNS cache. We apologize for this extremely
unfortunate circumstance of events.

Décidément cette liste de diffusion s'avère plus verbeuse que ce que j'annonçais.
Un nouveau message est tombé ce soir à propos du North America Mesoscale (NAM) Forecast System.
Je ne pense pas qu'il devrait y avoir de conséquence sur le chargement des vents pour le jeu.
Voilà le message:

The NAM upgrade scheduled for March 15, 2017 is delayed to March 21, 2017 due to critical weather being declared for the Northeast.

Pas encourageante la météo nord américaine (NAM), ça caille à New York.

Les différents messages s'adressent aux beta-testeurs des futurs modèles sur un serveur parallèle. Pas d'incidence sur la mise à disposition des données de vent du Global Forecast System (GFS).

A moins que le président des USA réalise que NOAA agence gouvernementale payée par le contribuable américain diffuse gratuitement la météo pour les mexicains et le reste du monde...
