Bravo to coromandel

Petibato & blzblz continue to make ground, now in 10th and 11th.

I continue to sprint East in 20+knot winds and gained 5 places over night. OFNI, Garfield and Skeud are also in the South and making good ground. Will be interesting to see how much they can make up. The large centre group are having mixed progress with winds at different speeds/angles.

Frank is doing well , fingers crossed, almost time to pull the fishing gear in.

Another interesting 24 hrs.
The lead group continue to close to the finish, Coromandel has taken 2nd spot after tacking inshore another wind cell- could be after the fresher wind there. Has now tacked back and hoping the better wind will favour him. The danger is, Caronmur & Bogillou will overtake when they tack back.

The other North group have no other tactic to play except hope for the best wind possible, but again they are close hauled.
The middle group cover some huge amount of sea, and although starting to stall as the wind drops in front; those behind have closed the gap up the middle.
Petibato & blblz continue to close the distance from finish, but 370 miles to 9th place with 770 to run may be a tall order. They are downwind so we will see.
the southern boats of the centre group have been going well att the rear, with a nice weather system to surf. Rapido was overtaken by Kingfisher 36 hours ago, but now overhauled and better by a 100 miles. Gobi, ixtapa, Rapido, armen29, pitalugue are catching the centre of the centre group due to sailing with the better winds from the west.
Rapido has overhauled me back, but hopefully those gains end at the next wind update, when kingfisher should be gracing 30+ knots for the next 24 hrs afterwards.
Garfield & OFNI even though seemingly way back down south could surprise a few of the centre group.

I have taken a bit of a gamble by breaking loose from the others but I'm hoping for favourable winds at the next wind update. I don't have any tools to check out the course in an effective way. So here goes!!!

It could be close Padigun may have taken his last tack, and looks like a settled course to finish.
