On some races, usually those lasting several days or weeks, not on the Week Races; a "Fog Mode" is randomly triggered.
(Fog = Brouillard in french)

During the fog periods, you can't see all the other boats anymore.

Fog periods can last from 6 to 12 hours and the time between each fog period can last from 2 to 4 days.

During fog periods, the "amis" (friends), "proches" (near), "podium" and "autres" (others) checkboxes just left to the map are replaced by a blinking "brouillard" (fog) text.
When the fog period stops, the checkboxes shows again, but on some interfaces, the "others" checkbox is not checked. You have to check it again to display all the other boats again.

By the way, there are two running pools on the french part of the forum about the duration (durée) and the frequency (fréquence) of the fog periods.

The fog mode has been changed, here is how it works:

After the start of a race, the fog is triggered randomly in a period of 96H to 168H and for a random duration of 4H to 8H. At the end of the fog period, the process automatically re-engages.
The fog process is disabled when the first arrivals are in sight of arrival.

Is it still triggered at the 19th minute after the hour as before?

fog period is good it doesnt bother me as i run my own course not run by routers or by playing follow the leader
fog period should last for days so everyone has to think for themselves and not play the same as everyone else
be nice to have a turn the radar off button so u can hide
