Map projection

G'day fellows and gals,

I'm not sure whether you're aware but a new map projection is now available for those with "Pacha" status. I've been using it on the Fast Fastnet challenge and also on the Frozen race. It uses Mercator as a projection, that means the bearings are correct and the vertical scale is equal to the horizontal scale near the boat.

The dimensions at the top are still less than at the bottom of the map (in the Northern hemisphere, it's the opposite in the Southern one), but at least locally to the boat, they are equal, and the bearings can be measured with a protractor off the screen.

To select the new projection, go to your profile and at the bottom you will see a selection is available (for those of you who are pachas) saying:

proj_en epsg:4326_en epsg:3857_en

epsg:4326_en is the default (square wind cells) , epsg:3857_en is the new "Mercator" projection (with recangular wind cells)

So far I haven't noticed any bug, but should you find one, please report it in the "Bugs" section.
