Two compulsory passages: around Akpatok Island at the entrance of Hudson Bay, and around Illorsuit Island, close to Greenland.

NOTICE: you have to pass round the islands coming from the south, and it is forbidden to cross back the virtual line between the buoys because this would unvalidate your line crossing (no stop and go).

Same for the the finishing line: the green flag must be left to starboard, as shown on the drawing, the line must not cross back again.

The polars have been concocted by Gégé. They are slightly different from the MOD70 ones because we did not manage to get the real MOD70 polars.

This first leg of this Frozen Race is estimated to last around 12 days.
