Re: Leg 10 : Port Said - Tersane ada
Well done Ard, don't forget the Clipper this evening

Re: Leg 10 : Port Said - Tersane ada
Have started already in the Clipper race, now on 13th place. Sailing towards the Street of Dover, or maybe here I have to say Calais channel
small fleet though
fair winds
edit: oops my fault, now I read the announcement once more and see that the Clipper race starts only today.
OK back to the Start then.

Good morning All, as you can see, Andre was waving his finger at me for registering for the forum in my name not boat
This was my 2nd race, and although was doing ok, i obviously lost a lot of ground by traversing the grids in wrong places. It is difficult to quickly test which is a quick way to traverse the grids, may be experience will tell me what i should do.
I find it time consuming to set my marks, and reset when i think there is a faster way. I understand "pacha" lets you create a 2nd set of marks to test routes, then only keep one of them.

That's right Glenn, "pacha" gives you 9 WPs or Scheduler's marks and another 9 alternative ones and a button to allow you to swap the active ones (green) with the stand-by ones (orange). I haven't tried it yet (too busy doing real sailing plus it is father's day here today), André has and he likes it.Glenn a écrit :Good morning All, as you can see, Andre was waving his finger at me for registering for the forum in my name not boat![]()

Glenn by becoming "Pacha" you make it easy for yourself but also you allow the platform to live; Don't forget what happened to Liveskipper

Little information for new players and reminder for others: RG works on the associative mode, its designers and developers (Blaise, Gégé and Fred) are volunteers. Becoming pasha for € 20 a year (or more if you wantsmiticks42 a écrit :Glenn by becoming "Pacha" you make it easy for yourself but also you allow the platform to live; Don't forget what happened to Liveskipper

All the contributions of players according to their skills are also welcome (polar, navigation tools etc ...) but also their patience when bugs occur. It's not often, but it happens (thank you also to raise the problems by one channel or another)
It is possible to connect to the backup server for information when access to the game is impossible: http://www.regattagame.org
Welcome to all new players, good game to all, and ENJOY!
PS: new features are coming soon, including the new interface that should not be long, Gégé works hard. As for Blaise he advances on the smartphone app

Merci mAKi,
I am working on pacha, and appreciate RG is a small group of enthusiasts who develop and support the game.
I read about "pacha"; but i did NOT read that I should have registered with the forum with my boat name - me bad
I have to change my user name for forum first.
